I had the absolute pleasure of doing bride Alyssa’s wedding party hair and makeup recently. Some people you just click with. When I met her for the bridal consultation I was so excited to work with her and meet her family and friends. Here’s some of the photos and I’ll also share the stellar review she gave me that just made my day 💜.
So for the trial, she was doing a court ceremony and wanted a half a half down style.
She has such beautiful hair. No extensions needed here. Just some soft curls and loosely pulled back with a twist.
She sent me this photo of her and her dress so you could see it with the Hair and Makeup all done. Just lovely!
OK, onto the wedding day. Here is a before picture of the bride.

For the wedding day, she decided she wanted a simple low bun because she was going to be doing a lot of dancing. 💃🏻
Here comes the bridesmaids hairstyles. I did hair for 7 people total for this wedding!
Alyssa decided that she wanted to have everyone have their hair down or half a half down since her hair was in an updo. This was a nice contrast so that she stood out.
Here is another half a half down hairstyle with a little bit of a twist and voluminous curls.
She’s extremely close with her brother, and he was actually one of the bridesmaids too. I got to do his hair as well such a fun person. He had us all laughing.
The mother of the bride wanted some soft Hollywood type waves with one side pinned back. She had beautiful thick hair like her daughter.

I did more hair than Makeup for the wedding, but I was able to do the brides Makeup and the lovely mother of the brides Makeup. She does not wear much makeup at all so she wanted something very soft and natural that enhanced her features. Airbrush makeup was perfect for that.
Here’s a lovely group photo of all the ladies and man whose hair I did and of course a lovely bride and her mom whose hair and Makeup I did. Everyone was so fun while we were getting ready. It was not stressful. They were dancing, laughing singing cracking jokes. Such a fun group!

“Lisa was a wonderful Hair and Makeup artist for my big day! Super responsive and a joy to work with. I ran a trial with her for my courthouse wedding and she worked with all my concerns regarding makeup. I had switched to a updo for the actual day and that thing did not budge even with my excessive dancing! I tend to run oily after a full day of full face makeup, but I can guarantee that that didn't budge either! She's a full blown one woman army and accommodated not only hair and makeup for me and my mom, but also hair for 5 of my bridesmaids! Would love to work with her again!”
